The Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Announced

The Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom has been announced by Nintendo during their recent Nintendo Direct, and I cannot wait to play this new Nintendo Switch game! We’ve been waiting for the sequel to The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild for what seems like an eternity now. Before now, we were merely referring to the game as Breath Of The Wild 2. Well, now we have a title for the new game and some new gameplay also, and it looks incredible.

The video game seems to be a direct sequel to Breath Of The Wild, and this will be the first time this has been done since Majora’s Mask, which was a sort of direct sequel to The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. These games are among some of the world’s best video games ever made, and I would argue that Breath Of The Wild is the best of all of them. I know that many fans will disagree with me on that one, but it was truly unlike any Zelda game before it, and I love it to bits. That said, I also truly and deeply love Wind Waker and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

There is genuinely something very special about the look of this game. You can immediately tell that it’s a direct sequel to Breath Of The Wild. It still has the same look as the first game. However, it really does seem as though the team working on the game at Nintendo has really pushed the boat out on this one. There’s going to be more flying in the game, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a lot bigger in scope.

It’s kind of crazy that Nintendo is able to make such a visually stunning game on a platform like the Nintendo Switch. The console’s hardware isn’t the best. It’s actually quite old now, but Nintendo has always been very good a working within the limits it sets for itself. Their in-house games are always stunning and always worth playing. Luigi’s Mansion 3, Breath Of The Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Super Mario Odyssey, Metroid Dread… The list of in-house Nintendo games that look stunning on the console is literally endless.

The Nintendo Direct also revealed that the game is set to be released on the 12th of May, 2023.
