Zack Snyder Reveals There Was A Batman And Lois Lane Romance In Justice League

Zack Snyder has revealed that he wanted a romance between Batman and Lois Lane in Justice League when he was first making the movie. He revealed this during his recent interview with Vanity Fair.

I’m going to be honest here, the idea of having Bruce fall in love with Lois Lane is, in my mind, a pretty stupid one. Maybe it happened in one of the comics, but to my knowledge it never did, and for good reason. If Superman were to find out that Lois and Bruce were having some sort of romance, he would kill Batman – no hesitation.

Here’s what Zack Snyder had to say about wanting Bruce and Lois to have some sort of romance in Justice League:

The intention was that Bruce fell in love with Lois and then realized that the only way to save the world was to bring Superman back to life. So he had this insane conflict, because Lois, of course, was still in love with Superman. We had this beautiful speech where [Bruce] said to Alfred: ‘I never had a life outside the cave. I never imagined a world for me beyond this. But this woman makes me think that if I can get this group of gods together, then my job is done. I can quit. I can stop.’ And of course that doesn’t work out for him.
