Zachary Levi has revealed that he would be very interested in seeing a Shazam and Black Adam showdown in an upcoming DC Comics movie.
Levi spoke about this at Dragon Con 2021 (via The Direct) and it sounds like such a cool idea, we would love to see it happen.
Levi is currently working on Shazam 2 (aka Shazam!: Fury Of The Gods) and we’ve also heard that Dwayne Johnson has wrapped on the Black Adam movie.
Now, in the comics, Shazam and Black Adam are basically enemies, even though Black Adam does sometimes end up being a sort of anti-hero.
One of the things I think all DC Comics fans would love to see is the two of them fight on the big screen.
Sounds like Levi would like that to happen also.

Here’s what Levi had to say on the matter:
Like honestly, all those things are way above my pay grade. I have no idea how all of these things are going to ultimately carve up. I know that he’s a very busy man, and very successful. Again, very busy doing other movies. So, I don’t know if and when there is ever going to be that . I hope so! Given the comic and the canon and all that stuff, I think it would be a bummer if Captain Marvel and Black Adam didn’t have at least their one meeting, whatever that’s going to be. You know, I’ll just show up and put on the suit.
