Wonder Woman 1984 is the next film to come out the DCEU canon, and I for one cannot wait to watch this movie, which is a sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman.
The first film, directed by Patty Jenkins, was easily one of, if not the best movies in the DCEU so far and I think it’ll go down in comic book movie history, especially the incredible No Man’s Land trench scene, which is just perfect cinema.
Anyway, there was a recent test screening (actually, it’s been reported that there were two), and some outlets reported that the reactions were “mixed to negative”.
However, this might not have actually been the cast because there are now people on Twitter who are claiming to have been part of these test screenings and they’ve reported that the movie was brilliant.
Sounds like the Wonder Woman 1984 test screenings weren’t as bad as people said they were

Here’s what they had to say about the test screenings and the movie in general (via Wonder Woman News on Twitter):
The first reactions from the Wonder Woman 1984 test screening are overwhelmingly positive: it is described as a romantic adventure with many emotional moments between Diana and Steve. #WW84
So, it sounds as if some people really enjoyed the movie, which I for one am really pleased to hear because Wonder Woman 1984 is one of my most anticipated films of 2020.
I remember back when Wonder Woman came out, people were claiming that the test screenings of the movie were going down terribly, but then the film came out and it was, well, wonderful.
The only reservation I had with the film was the ending, which I found to be a bit of a dark CGI-heavy mess, but those reported plot leaks make it sounds a lot more fun and slightly wacky, which I think is a good thing.
What all this means is that people should reserve judgement until they’ve seen the film for themselves, or have read reviews from critics they trust.
