It’s been revealed Warner Bros. Pictures is looking for a black director to helm the upcoming black Superman movie.
This news was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter in a recent article.
They stated that Warner Bros. Pictures has a bunch of directors in mind to make their Black Superman movie.
This is the film that’s being developed by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company.
I have to say that it’s quite odd that this would be announced on Henry Cavill’s birthday of all days.
However, you can’t put anything past Warner Bros. Pictures these days.
Anyway, the names that The Hollywood Reporter’s article mentions as potential directors for this Black Superman movie are the following:
Barry Jenkins, Steven Caple Jr., J.D. Dillard, Regina King and Shaka King.
