Warwick Davis has revealed that he really wants Val Kilmer to return in the upcoming Willow sequel series which is coming to Disney Plus. He revealed this during an interview with the Radio Times.
It was revealed a few weeks ago that Disney had greenlit a Willow sequel series which would be coming to Disney Plus. The show would be written by Jonathan Kasdan and the pilot episode will be directed by Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu.
It was revealed that Warwick Davis would be returning to play the lead character. Ron Howard will be an executive producer on the show. Howard was the one who directed the original movie for Lucasfilm.

You know what, it’s weird to be able to talk about it now. It’s something which I never thought I would see happen. I’m hoping that we establish Willow as a very accomplished sorcerer now. I hope he’s been practicing and we get to see him do some real magic, which would be fabulous. And also I’m hoping that we can reunite with Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley as well.
