It’s been confirmed via an article in Entertainment Weekly (via WhatCulture) that the upcoming Disney Plus WandaVision series is going to be six hours long. The article also revealed that it would feel like a six-hour-long movie.
This is a really interesting thing to hear and it makes me very excited to see what this upcoming Marvel Disney Plus show is going to be like. It sounds like they’ve really been pushing the boundaries of comic book TV shows with WandaVision.
The show stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision. They played these characters in the MCU movies, and it looks like Wanda might end up being in Doctor Strange 2 as well.

Here’s what was said about Disney Plus’ upcoming show, WandaVision, in the Entertainment Weekly article:”It’s really incredible to be able to tell a long-form story the way the comics did,” co-executive producer Mary Livanos says.
She continued: “In a sense, [a TV show] is a multi-issue comic-book run, which is something that, from the Marvel development side, we totally do understand.” Star Teyonah Parris adds to that, stating: “I was like, ‘Oh, I thought we were doing a little show,’ but no, it’s six Marvel movies packed into what they’re presenting as a sitcom.”
