The recently released teaser showed field agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) previously seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) who starred in Thor and Thor: The Dark World. While fans knew that these characters would pop up in WandaVision, the exact episode wasn’t confirmed until today.
In the 54-second clip, Jimmy Woo is seen working with Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), investigating the weirdness of the universe Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) has created. While walking towards the Westview city sign, Monica is met with a static barrier and she tells Jimmy that it’s “some sort of energy field.”
This is Monica Rambeau’s first named appearance in the show as we’ve previously met her as Geraldine, but the captioning provided by Disney lists the character speaking as Monica.
Jimmy is also confirmed to be the radio speaker who reached out to Wanda in the second episode saying, “Wanda, can you read me? Who’s doing this to you?”
Then, towards the end of the trailer, the camera pans to Darcy. She is seen sitting at the control desk that was shown monitoring Wanda at the end of episode one.
At her desk now, there appears to be SWORD reports of the various new characters that we have met thus far. Many of the reports have identification cards attached to them.
A Twitter user (@BrandonBurney12) points out that Wanda and Vision’s (Paul Bettany) noisy neighbour Agnes (Kathryn Hahn) is the only character who does not have an I.D. card.

Fans have plenty to say about this new WandaVision clip
Multi-fandom account @nickyfrosto suggests that we might meet Pietro in this week’s episode. This is something that we mentioned in our recap of the last episode of WandaVision where Wanda sorrowfully mentioned losing her brother.

And lastly, self-proclaimed “WandaVision Enthusiast” @civiiswar speculated that Monica Rambeau could only pass the static field because of her powers. In the clip shown it appeared as though Jimmy Woo couldn’t see the force field and kept his distance.
what if only monica rambeu can pass the force field because of her powers? #WandaVision pic.twitter.com/RSJgCYBqlq

The powers being mentioned come from the character’s origin in the Marvel comics. Monica gained superpowers after being struck by an energy disruptor weapon created by an evil scientist which led her to collaborate with Spider-Man and the Avengers. Her powers are listed as superhuman speed, intangibility (moving through solid objects), and the ability to absorb and manipulate energy.
This was an excellent teaser for the new WandaVision episode. It definitely excited its fans and viewers for tomorrow’s episode.
