So, this one was bound to happen. It’s been revealed that Venom 2 (Venom: Let There Be Carnage) is really causing ‘carnage’ as far as Sony Pictures ‘movies’ release dates are concerned as the film has been delayed yet again.
We brought you news earlier this week that the movie had been delayed internationally.
It’s now coming out on October 14th in several international locations.
However, it wasn’t certain whether the film was going to be delayed in the United States or not.
Well, it’s now been confirmed via Variety that the film’s been pushed back to October 15th in the US.
The movie was supposed to be released on September 24th, but due to rising COVID-19 cases and new variants for the virus springing up here and there like Loki variants Sony Pictures has felt it best to push the release date back a few weeks.
It’s not a huge delay, but at this point, I do wonder whether Sony might just decide to bite the bullet and push it back another year.
I really hope they don’t do this, and I doubt they would.

However, The Suicide Squad’s poor box office performance has shown that people are still not comfortable going back to the cinemas.
Also, a whole load of new rules and regulations have been placed upon cinemas internationally.
I live in France for instance, and in order to go to the cinema over here you need to be vaccinated.
I do believe that other countries in Europe are doing the same thing.
Now, the United States isn’t doing this, but still people aren’t feeling safe going to watch films at the cinema yet.
We’re going to have to wait and see what happens.
However, as far as Venom 2’s concerned, the movie is now coming out on October 15th in the US.
