Now, I do hope this doesn’t end up being the case, but it does look like Venom 2 (Venom: Let There Be Carnage) might have been delayed again!
This was pointed out by quite a few users on Twitter who noticed that the film’s latest trailer had removed the film’s release date.
The movie was supposed to be released on September 24th, however, that date was nowhere to be seen on Venom: Let There Be Canrage’s latest trailer.
Instead, it said that the movie would be “in theaters this fall”.
If you’re English, then “fall” means “autumn”, and yes, I suppose you can say that fall starts officially on September 22nd.
However, if you already have a release date scheduled, why not just put that at the end of the trailer?

Why bother putting “coming this fall”, or words to that effect, when you already have a release date planned.
Well, the only explanation is that the movie’s going to be delayed yet again by Sony Pictures.
However, I doubt it’ll be an extensive delay.
I think that the movie will be coming out in October rather than September in some territories.
I think that’s the thing here – the movie’s going to be coming out on many different dates across the globe due to the pandemic.
In places such as France, Belgium, Japan and Germany, I do wonder whether the movie will be pushed into October.
