Venom 2 Has Been Pushed Back To June 2021 And Gets A New Title

It’s been revealed that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ Venom 2 movie has been pushed back to June 2021 and it’s also got a new title.

So many movies have been pushed back now because of the Coronavirus pandemic, and that’s to be expected.

Cinemas are closed and movie studios can’t shoot their films, so it means the whole of Hollywood’s come to a strand-still.

We’ve already seen Sony Pictures push back Morbius’ release date and it was only a matter of time before they did the same thing to Venom 2.

ComicBook.com has now confirmed that Venom 2 has been delayed.

Its new release date is now June 25th, 2021 as opposed to October 2nd, 2020.

This means that 2021 is probably going to be the best year as far as blockbuster movies are concerned.

Venom 2 is now called Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage

They also revealed that the movie is going to be called Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage.

I’m going to be honest here, I’m not crazy about this name.

I think it’s a bit cheesy, but I’m hoping it’ll grow on me in time.

The film will star Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom and Woody Harrelson as Carnage/Cletus Kasady.

Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage is being directed by Andy Serkis.
