Tom Holland’s Spider-Man To Cameo In Venom 2

There has been a lot of talk recently about the state of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, and there has been some chatter about how Sony Pictures is going to use him in their upcoming movies and whether he’d be in the Venom sequel.

There was a moment when it looked like Tom Holland’s Spider-Man may no longer be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but thankfully, Marvel and Sony sorted things out and he will now get a third Marvel Spider-Man movie.

However, it also means that Tom Holland will get to play Spider-Man in Sony’s other Spidey-related pictures, including the likes of Venom 2 potentially.

There are now reports that Spider-Man will cameo in Venom 2 which is being directed by Andy Serkis and will see Tom Hardy reprising his role as Venom.

According to We Got This Covered’s source (they certainly seem to have some very informative sources), Holland will make a cameo appearance as Spider-Man in Venom’s second movie and then have a larger role in Venom 3.

The first Venom movie was pretty successful at the box office, but it was basically ripped to shreds by the critics. They really didn’t take too kindly too it, and for good reason. It was a very good movie.

That said, there was something there, something which could end up being turned into a relatively good franchise, especially with an actor as captivating as Tom Hardy as the lead.

I loved Hardy as Eddie Brock and he made a pretty terrifying Venom. Then there’s the added bonus of having Andy Serkis as the sequel’s director, and he’s proven himself to be very capable in that role.

I do believe that there’s a lot of life in Venom, and I’m excited to see what’s to come from this ‘Sony Cinematic Spiderverse’, or the SCS for short.
