It’s now being rumoured that Tom Holland is in talks to star in the upcoming Venom 3 movie, which still isn’t officially greenlit yet. However, according to insider Daniel Richtman, the Spider-Man actor is very close to agreeing to be in the Sony Pictures Spider-Man spinoff movie.
As it stands, Tom Hardy is currently working on Venom 2, which is actually called Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and the movie is set to hit cinemas this year. It was originally intended to be released in 2020, but the Coronvarius pandemic forced it into 2021.
The movie is being directed by Andy Serkis, and it will feature Woody Harrelson has Carnage, which I’m really excited to see. It sounds as though Sony Pictures is pretty confident in the movie, as we’re now hearing rumours that Venom 3 could feature Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

Now, as I mentioned above, the movie hasn’t been officially greenlit yet, but that doesn’t mean that conversations aren’t happening behind the scenes. If the movie does succeed at the box office (if it does actually come out in cinemas), then I’m pretty sure Sony Pictures will do everything within its power to ensure that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man turns up in the movie.
I would love to see Tom Hardy’s Venom go up again Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. However, the way the first Venom movie went, I’m not convinced that Venom will be a villain in this film. Let me know what you guys think could happen in Venom 3.
