Is Toby Emmerich Leaving Warner Bros For Netflix?

It’s being reported that Warner Bros. Pictures’ chairman Toby Emmerich is being floated for a job over at Netflix.

This was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter who published an article yesterday claiming that Toby Emmerich could be up for a job over at Netflix.

Emmerich has 18 months left on his contract over at Warner Bros. Pictures and it sounds like he might be planning his next move.

Here’s what The Hollywood Reporter had to write about Emmerich potentially leaving Warners for Netflix:

Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that David Geffen in recent weeks placed a call to Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos to inquire whether there might be a possible role for Emmerich at Netflix.

So, it sounds as though David Geffen is trying to get his friend, Toby, a new job at Netflix.

However, later on in their article, The Hollywood Reporter they added the following:

Others with knowledge of the situation say top Netflix executives did not see a place for Emmerich at the streamer. A source close to Sarandos said, “no call was placed to him, and there was no discussion about a position.”

Now, this is interesting as far as SnyderVerse fans are concerned because Emmerich is of the executives who don’t want it to continue.

It’ll be interesting to see how this story develops.
