It’s now being rumoured that Timothée Chalamet is being eyed for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This rumour comes to us from We Got This Covered.

They are claiming that Marvel Studios is very interested in casting the young actor for an unspecified role in the MCU. They don’t offer any information on what this role could be, but we can always speculate.

I’ve long held the belief that Chalamet is one of the greatest actors working in Hollywood. I’m pretty much certain that he’ll end up with an Oscar or two on his mantelpiece by the end of his career – he’s that good.

So, what could this MCU role be? Well, your guess is as good as mine. There are so many Marvel roles that he would be perfect for. He would work well as a younger X-Men. He would also be a great villain.

However, I think that Marvel Studios might want an actor of his calibre to stick around in the MCU for a while. I always thought that Chalamet would have made an excellent Spider-Man, but that role’s been taken.

So, who could he play? Well, he would be excellent as Wiccan – Wanda Maximoff’s son and Speed’s twin brother. That character was hinted at in one of the recent episodes of WandaVision.

As for what’s next for the young actor, he’s about to star as Paul Atreides in Dennis Villeneuve’s Dune, and then he’s starring in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch. He’s also attached to star in Adam McKay’s film, Don’t Look Up, as well as playing Bob Dylan in a film called Going Electric.
