It’s been revealed that Tim Burton is going to be making a live-action version of The Addams Family TV series which would be an interesting thing to see.
This news was brought to us by Deadline.
They are reporting that director Tim Burton is negotiating to executive produce and possibly even direct all episodes of this new take on the franchise.
They also add that Smallville TV showdevelopers/executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will be head writers on the show.
They’ll also serve as showrunners as well as executive producers along with Tim Burton.
The rights to the Addams Family property is MGM TV and they are said to be financing the development of this new series.

However, as things stand there are multiple buyers bidding on Tim Burton’s The Addams Family live-action TV series.
Sources have informed Deadline that one of those bidders is Netflix.
They also added that the streaming giants are at the top of the list of potential winners of this bidding war that’s going on for the project.
Deadline also added that this new live-action series could be set in the present day.
They also add that it could be set from the perspective of Wednesday Addams and how 20202 would look in her eyes.
