Tim Allen has been trending on Twitter today and that’s caused many people to believe that the Toy Story actor is dead, but is he really?
So, this is one of those strange moments when a celebrity’s name starts to trend on Twitter and people immediately think that person is therefore dead.
However, it often ends up not being the case and then people speculate why they started trending in the first place.
Often, there’s no real explanation as to why the name started to trend, and this seems to be the case with Toy Story and Home Improvement action, Tim Allen.
That said, fans of the actor were still worried he had passed and the took to Twitter to pay their ‘respects’.
I say ‘respects’, that’s not really what happened.
When this starts to happen on Twitter, people have started doing something quite annoying.
They tweet: “RIP [insert celebrity name here]”, and then post a picture of another actor or celebrity.

There is a lot of this on Twitter now and it seems as though Tim Allen is the latest victim of this new Twitter trend.
It’s a bit of a joke, but it seems to amuse a lot of people.
Anyway, I tried to get to the bottom of why Tim Allen was trending.
Is Tim Allen really dead? The answer to that question is, no.
He’s still alive and well.
Him trending might have something to do with his show being renewed and then it snowballed into this ‘Is he dead’ conversation.

So, yes. Tim Allen is alive and well.
That said, some people have now pointed out some rather bad things he’s said over the years.
Maybe he would have preferred not to be in the limelight right now.
