It’s been revealed that Thor: Love And Thunder is about to undergo reshoots specifically with Christian Bale who’s playing Gorr The God Butcher in the movie.
This news was revealed by Age Media News over on Facebook and they are claiming that the reshoots are specifically for Bale’s character in the movie.
They don’t offer any more information than that.
The post doesn’t explain where the reshoots will be taking place and how long they will last.
It’s rather odd that a movie does reshoots for just one character, so I’m assuming that there are going to be more actors returning other than Bale.
Why is Christian Bale doing Thor: Love And Tunder reshoots?

When it was first revealed that Christian Bale would be returning to the comic book movie realm, I really couldn’t believe it.
The Welsh actor had said in the past that he would only do another comic book movie if Christopher Nolan was involved.
Well, it seems as though Taika Waititi managed to convince the former Batman actor to play the villain in his upcoming MCU movie.
Gorr The God Butcher is also a really interesting character for Bale to play.
He’s one of the few villains to really give Thor a tough time in the comics.
Gor comes very close to killing the God Of Thunder and he has a really good reason to hate all Gods.
It’s going to be fascinating to see what Bale does with the role.

I find that Marvel Studios meddles far too much in the making of the films. Let them just produce them rather than meddle with the directors’ work. The intervention of the producers in the direction has never given anything good and I doubt that it is the case here. And it forces Christian Bale and maybe other actors to reprise some of the scenes they had already played to please the bozos at Marvel Studios. I think CB would have preferred to be able to quietly prepare for his next role (The Church of Living Dangerously will star Christian Bale as real-life drug smuggling preacher John Lee Bishop) rather than rehash scenes that he had surely already played excellently, as he always does.
