It’s been revealed that filming on The Witcher Season 2 will continue despite the fact that Henry Cavill injured himself. This news was revealed by Deadline, and yet it sounds a bit odd to me.
It was revealed yesterday that Henry Cavill has injured his leg while on an “assault course”, which sounds to me as if he was doing some army activity, which he is known for doing. This suggested to me that he didn’t actually injure himself on the set of The Witcher Season 2. Turns out he didn’t injure himself on the set of the show. According to The Sun, Cavill hurt his leg while on an assault course, working at a height of 20ft while wearing a safety harness.
We then heard rumours that Cavill was struggling to walk and couldn’t film many of the action scenes, which is a problem. It was then suggested that filming on the Netflix show had to be stopped. Turns out, that might not be the case.

Deadline’s article claims that Cavill will be sidelined for a few weeks due to the injury, but production on The Witcher Season 2 will carry on without him. Here’s what they wrote about the show:
Filming on the hit Netflix drama series The Witcher continues without its star Henry Cavill who is recovering from what is described as a minor leg muscle injury sustained during production on the hit series at Arborfield Studios, west of London.
