Michael Rooker Rumoured To Be Returning To The Walking Dead Universe

There are rumours that former The Walking Dead star, Michael Rooker might be returning to the AMC show or one of its spinoff shows.

Michael Rooker played Merle Dixon on the show, and he was a pretty terrifying presence on The Walking Dead.

He’s Daryl Dixon’s brother and there are now rumours that Rooker might get to play the character again in an upcoming movie set in The Walking Dead universe.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources, who claim that Rooker will be part of the Daryl Dixon solo movie AMC is currently in the process of developing.

Seeing Daryl back with his brother, Merle would be interesting to see.

It would also allow us to know more about Daryl’s backstory, which might not be pretty.

We already know that AMC is making a movie trilogy with Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes.

However, it doesn’t look like they’re going to stop there.

It’s been rumoured that they’re also looking to make a Daryl movie and a Michonne film with Danai Gurira set to return in the role.

These movies set in The Walking Dead universe haven’t been officially revealed by AMC yet.

However, people seem to be pretty sure that they’re going to happen.
