The Umbrella Academy Season 2 has a new trailer which teases that the next season of the hit Netflix show will see the return of Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
The first season of The Umbrella Academy proved to be a huge hit for Netflix and they quickly got the second season underway once they realised how much people loved the new show.
The show is based on a comic book series from Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba.
The comics are really good and I’d recommend you seek them out before watching Season 2.
They’re made by Dark Horse Comics, who might end up being in a bit of trouble following Disney’s acquisition of Fox which means the House of Mouse has given the comic book rights to Alien and Predator over to Marvel Comics.
Both those comic book franchises were handled by Dark Horse Comics before the Fox/Disney merger.
Anyway, back to The Umbrella Academy Season 2.
The new trailer shows a lot of new stuff. You can check it out below.

Among the new stuff are some new Swedish assassins of The Commission and a fish in a bowl on top of a human-like body.
It does seem as though Season 2 is going to be a lot stranger than the first season.
That’s saying something because the first season was already pretty strange.
Anyway, the end of the trailer also teases the return of Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
That was kind of to be expected because The Umbrella Academy has gone back in time, so they might end up coming face-to-face with their foster father.
