The Terminal List Season 2 might have been teased by the show’s star, Chris Pratt. Let’s go into what happened and why we’re pretty sure that the second season is happening over at Amazon Prime Video. So, Pratt was talking to Jack Carr about the series, and during the interview on Carr’s podcast, the actor teased that there might be more episodes of the show coming.
Chris Pratt played Lieutenant Commander James Reece in the first season of this new Amazon Prime Original series. He spoke with the author of the books, Jack Karr, for his podcast, Danger Close, to discuss the series (via Deadline). When Carr asked the actor if there would be more of the show, Pratt spoke about “the rabid fans”, and then said that those fans have absolutely nothing to worry about and that they all love the passion and support. Pratt added that they are working towards keeping fans of the show happy. I think this means that there is another season of the show coming.

The show’s first season followed Lieutenant Commander James Reece (played by Pratt). He is the only survivor of an ambush that killed his entire team of Navy Seals. One other soldier did survive, but he killed himself when they returned from the mission. Reece is then diagnosed with a fatal tumour in his brain. However, that’s not all that he has to go through. He also discovered a massive cover-up involving everyone from his chain of command to politicians. This is when Reece decides to seek vengeance and goes on a crazy killing spree to kill those who wronged him and his team.
The series also stars Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, Hustlers), Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights, John Carter), Jeanne Tripplehorn (Criminal Minds, Basic Instinct), and Jai Courtney (The Suicide Squad).
Do we need a second season?

When the show was first released, it didn’t get a very good reaction from critics. Many people called the show an “unhinged right-wing revenge fantasy” and “a wet dream for militia-minded anti-establishment kooks”. This all ended with the series getting a rotten score of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the show has a lot of fans, and it actually performed really well on Amazon Prime Video. This is probably why the series will be getting a second season. The first seasons ended up being watched for a whopping 1.4 billion minutes in the second week of streaming. This meant that it came in second play only to Stranger Things. It also got a Rotten Tomatoes score of 95% from regular users.
It’s going to be really, really hard for Amazon to ignore the show moving forward and not greenlight a second season. However, we still don’t have an official renewal announcement from Amazon. Jack Carr has written five more books involving Jack Reece, so they have a lot of source material to draw from should they go ahead and make the second season.
