The Suicide Squad’s New Trailer To Be Released Today

It’s been revealed that The Suicide Squad’s next trailer is going to be released later today and the film’s runtime will also be revealed.

This news was rumoured that other day, but it was confirmed by Erik Davis on Twitter.

If you don’t know who Davis is, he’s the head film critic of Fandango.

We’ve been waiting for a new trailer for The Suicide Squad for quite some time now.

We got the film’s first official trailer two months back, and the film’s scheduled for release in August.

So, we were all expecting a new trailer to be released relatively soon.

Davis then went on to add:

The trailer frames up Bloodsport as the main character as he struggles to connect w/ his daughter while behind bars. And credit to Viola Davis – even her brief parts in the trailer as Amanda Waller are memorable and tremendous. She gives SO much to this role & every role.

It sounds like the movie will be pretty amazing

However, Davis had more to say about the film’s trailer and the film in itself:

Can we also take a minute to credit Margot Robbie for all that she brings to Harley Quinn? Everyone is always going on about Affleck and Cavill, and I’m just like put Margot as Harley in all the DC movies. I’m there for it. Cannot wait to see her in Gunn’s #TheSuicideSquad.

The Suicide Squad is going to be released in cinemas on July 30th in the UK and August 6th in the US.

The film will also be released on HBO Max wherever the streaming platform is available.
