The Suicide Squad trailer could be released as early as this summer, which means that we could see the trailer for James Gunn’s DC Comics movie pretty soon.
The upcoming DC Comics movie seems to be something of a reboot for the Suicide Squad movie franchise.
The first movie was directed by David Ayer and came out back in 2016.
It was genuinely terrible, and yet it still managed to make quite a bit of money at the box office.
However, it really dented the DCEU and fans started to lose confidence in the movies a bit.
But, thankfully, they’ve now got one of the best in the business at making fun comic book movies in James Gunn.
He was fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and almost immediately hired by Warner Bros. Pictures to write and direct The Suicide Squad.

According to We Got This Covered, we could be getting a trailer for the upcoming The Suicide Squad movie in the summer.
They finished shooting a few months back, right before the Coronavirus Pandemic shut everything down.
This means they must have been able to edit the film from home, which is good news.
Hopefully, they’ll have enough edited footage to cobble a decent trailer together.
The Suicide Squad’s UK release date is August 6th, 2021.
