It’s been revealed that Disney has moved The New Mutants cinema release date to August 8th, 2020, which means it won’t be coming to Disney+ any time soon.
There’s been a lot of talk about what’s actually going on with The New Mutants.
Would we ever get to see the movie?
It was originally supposed to hit cinemas years ago, but then Fox delayed the movie.
They then delayed it again, and then Fox was bought by Disney.
It was silence on the movie for a while until it was then revealed that Disney was going to release the movie in cinemas in April 2020.
However, the Coronavirus pandemic hit and the movie was delayed yet again.
Yet, there was no official release date announced for The New Mutants, making many people wondering whether they might just dump it on Disney+.

It was then revealed via The New Mutants’ Twitter account that the movie’s now going to be released in cinemas on August 8th, 2020.
So, this means that we might actually get to see Josh Boone’s dark X-Men movie.
However, we still don’t know whether cinemas will be allowed to open in August.
I really hope they will do, because I really miss going to the cinema to watch movies.
