Still with us? Cool, let’s enter the Matrix of spoilers. In The Matrix Revolutions, Sati was a programme that was due for deletion.
However, her parents struck a deal with the Merovingian, and were able to save her. Ever since her involvement in the new film was confirmed, speculation has suggested that Priyanka Chopra-Jonas was playing an adult version of the character.
That speculation appears to have been confirmed by an Instagram post from WB Korea.
The post’s caption translates as: “s “#Sati | #Priyanka Chopra.” Chopra-Jonas joins a stacked cast that includes Matrix alumni Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Franchise newcomers Yahya Abdul-Mateen II Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris and Jonathan Groff round out the rest of the cast. Directed by Lana Wachowski, The Matrix Resurrections will be released on December 22 in cinemas, and on HBO Max, in the US.
