The Matrix 4 Has Been Delayed Into 2022 Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

It’s been revealed that The Matrix 4 has been delayed by a full year due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic which was to be expected.

It has already been revealed that The Matrix 4 was going to be released May 21st, 2021.

That date was actually going to be Keanu Reeves day because both The Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 were scheduled to be released on May 21st, 2021.

Unfortunately, coronavirus hit and then both movies were indefinitely delayed.

There was no official release date for either movie, yet we just knew that they weren’t going to come out in 2021.

Thankfully, Deadline revealed that The Matrix 4 is going to be coming to cinemas in 2022.

The Matrix 4 is now going to be coming out on April 1st, 2022.

That almost a full year’s delay, which is a huge delay for a movie.

However, there have been a lot of movies delayed by this much due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We’ve seen the likes of No Time To Die and Fast And Furious 9 all delayed.

Black Widow has also been delayed.

However, all those movies apart from Fast And Furious 9 are still coming out this year.

With The Matrix 4, that film was scheduled to be released in 2021, however, they can’t film, which means it’s going to take a while to get the film made.
