The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 has been revealed to be called The Jedi and it will feature Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. This news was first leaked by Star Wars Stuff on Twitter.
It was revealed a few months ago that Rosario Dawson was going to be playing Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, and then things went rather silent on that front. However, it was then revealed by Hotstar – the company that distributes Disney content in India – that Rosario Dawson was indeed going to be playing the former Jedi Knight.
Ahsoka Tano was first introduced in the animated Star Wars show, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She quickly went on to become a firm fan favourite. She was also very much a part of Star Wars Rebels.
Ahsoka Tano is going to be in the next episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, called The Jedi

Star Wars Stuff’s tweet claims that the next episode of the hit Star Wars live-action TV show will be called Jedi. This means that it will more than likely feature Ahsoka Tano.
The fact that the episode will also be directed by Dave Filoni adds fuel to this already blazing fire. Filoni was the one who came up with the character of Ahsoka Tano in the first place.
It makes sense to think that he would be the one who would want to bring her into the live-action Star Wars universe. And the casting of Rosario Dawson, I believe, is perfect. I can’t think of anyone better suited for the role.
