Disney has released a new teaser trailer for The Mandalorian, and this one teased some more information about some of the Disney Plus TV show’s other characters, namely Ming-Na Wen’s character Fennec Shand and Nick Nolte’s Ughnaught character called Kuiil.
The Mandalorian’s new teaser trailer is pretty short, but actually shows quite of bit of Ming-Na Wen and Nick Nolte’s characters, and we get to hear them say some lines.
Ming-Na Wen plays an assassin named Fennec Shand, and she recently opened up about her character during an interview with Vanity Fair. She said:
“We got our inspiration really from the name. The idea of a fennec fox came to mind. She’s tricky, and yet she’s able to maneuver and survive, and be stealthy—so very graceful and agile. I just love that whole image with the name.”
She was then asked whether her character would be a ‘goodie’ or a ‘baddie’ and she was rather coy on the matter, saying: “She is definitely someone who’s loyal to herself.”

But the character has been described as: “The first major female Asian Star Wars character who hews to the villainous side.”
Wen also spoke about how her character’s story will evolve in The Mandalorian, explaining:
“It will evolve, it will change. I mean, I think that’s what’s so wonderful about creating a new character. I think she has a good sense of humor about it all as well, which is also fun. You can’t really pinpoint which direction she’s going to go.”
Jon Favreau’s new Star Wars series is really gearing up to be the television event of the year, and there are loads of people out there who just cannot wait to start watching the series.
