Remember that time when Edward Norton played Bruce Banner in the MCU movie, The Incredible Hulk?
It seems like quite a long time ago now, but there was a point in time when Norton was Banner and the film itself wasn’t terrible.
It wasn’t the best Marvel movie ever made, but it certainly wasn’t the worst.
However, Norton was replaced by Mark Ruffalo for the Avengers movie, and the rest is history.
Ruffalo has certainly made the role his own over the years, but Norton’s now revealed that he would be against returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Edward Norton wouldn’t say no to returning to the MCU

Norton revealed this during a recent appearance on Larry King Now, where he was asked if he’d ever consider coming back to the Marvel universe, to which he replied:
“Yeah, why not? I had a lot of fun with it. I never made a movie like that.”
Norton then went on to reveal that there are no hard feelings between him and Marvel, despite the reports written claiming that he and Marvel Studios’ executives didn’t see eye-to-eye on set. Norton explained that he was just one of the many actors to have played the role, saying:
“I mean, Mark and I came up together in New York. He’s like one of the best, and people always try to create fake arguments and stuff. But it’s like doing Hamlet. The Hulk, it’s like, Bill Bixby was great, Eric Bana was great, I hope I was good, Mark’s great. I think it’s just one of those things a lot of great actors are gonna get to do.”
It would be interesting to see which character Norton might play if he was to return to the MCU.
Personally, I’d love to see him come back because he’s a great actor.
