Gotham Knights focuses on a Gotham City that must deal with the fallout after Batman is murdered.
Teaming up with the children of Batman’s arch nemeses, the Bat’s adopted son tries to figure out who’s responsible for the Caped Crusader’s murder.
A task made all the more difficult as without the Bat to protect it, Gotham City has become even more dangerous than ever.
The pilot will be penned by Batwoman writers Natalie Abrams, James Stoteraux, and Chad Fiveash.
Stoteraux and Fiveash will also serve as executive producers.
Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and David Madden of Berlanti Productions will also executive produce.
It’s not yet known who will star in the pilot.
However, fans will be hoping that the pilot does well enough that a full length series is ordered by the CW.
