It’s being reported that The CW is planning on cancelling their Batwoman series after Season 3, however, that won’t be the end of Batwoman.
This report comes to us from Giant Freakin Robot who is reporting that The CW has plans to cancel the show, but they will keep on Javicia Leslie in the role.
It sounds like they have plans for the character, but aren’t interested in carrying on the series.
Cancelling the show does make a lot of sense given how unpopular the season’s proven to be with the show’s fans.
The ratings have been pretty bad, yet they already renewed the show and it looks like they can’t go back on that now.
Talk about jumping the gun.
It seems as though The CW really thought the show was going to get pretty good ratings in Season 2 which could carry them into the third season.

According to our trusted inside source (…) Batwoman is looking to get cancelled by the powers-that-be at The CW. It sounds like that announced third season will be the show’s last. However, our source also says that the studio does not want to dispose of the Batwoman character at all. In fact, they want to use her in other shows after her solo series has ended.

To be honest, I’m surprised at the possible cancellation. I thought the CW didn’t care about the ratings, since they’ve been renewing their disgusting shows for years and selling them abroad. Yes, and there are shows that are rated much lower than Batwoman, but they are only going to cancel the bat? Very strange
