The very first trailer for The Book Of Boba Fett has been released and this Disney Plus show looks pretty darn awesome!

The series will start streaming on December 29th and will see the likes of Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen return as their respective Star Wars characters.

Morrison will be playing Boba Fett, and Wen will be back as Fennec Shand.

This series was teased at the end of The Mandalorian Season 2.

There was a pretty kickass post-credits scene at the end of that season in which Boba and Fennec went back to Tatooine and ended up killing Bib Fortuna.

Bib had taken over from Jaba The Hutt after the events of Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi.

The scene ended with Boba sitting on the iconic throne with Fennec by his side.

This new trailer teased a pretty impressive series, which will be a limited series.

It seems as though a vast majority of this show will take place on Tatooine.

We were the ones who broke the news that Rodriguez will be returning to direct at least one episode of this new spinoff Star Wars series.

Here’s the show’s plot synopsis:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
