There’s been an awful lot of talk about the upcoming The Batman movie, which is being written and directed by Matt Reeves.
Reeves’ previous films include the likes of War For The Planet Of The Apes, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and Cloverfield.
He’s proven that he’s able to direct a huge blockbuster and have it be genuinely interesting.
His Planet Of The Apes movies are particularly good examples of that.
He’s now working on The Batman which will star Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight and we may now know how his Batsuit and Batmobile will look in the movie.
According to the Batman fansite, Batman On Film, Robert Pattinson’s Batsuit in the film will be very different to the ones we’ve seen in the previous films.
However, the site was keen to stress that the suit will be “very much Batman” which has me thinking that Matt Reeves and Pattinson’s Batsuit will resemble some of the suits in the comics.
It feels as though The Batman movie will see a return to the comics

There have already been rumours that the suit will look a lot like the suit in The Long Halloween graphic novel, which means a return to the grey and dark blue colouring, and I like that idea.
The Batman fansite also suggests that they don’t think Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne will receive his Batsuit from anybody in particular.
No, they reckon he’s going to make the suit himself, which I’m also pretty sure he will in the movie.
As for the Batmobile, Batman On Film suggests that Pattinson’s version of the Caped Crusader will ride around Gotham City in an upgraded muscle car as opposed to the sort of tank Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne used in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy.
Again, it feels as though Reeves will be going for a more comic book accurate Batmobile as opposed to the more realistic version seen in The Dark Knight films.
