Zoe Kravitz has been cast as Catwoman in the upcoming Batman movie, which is being directed by Matt Reeves, and Aquaman star, Jason Mamoa, took the time to congratulate Zoe for bagging herself the iconic role.
“I’m so proud of u zozo bear,” began Mamoa via an Instagram post.
He continued: “On and off-screen OHANA. DC WB ohana Lola and Wolfies big sister is CAT WOMAN.
“Unbelievable so freaking stoked. You’re going to have so much fun Aloha P bear,” he finished.

The Batman will also star Robert Pattinson as Batman as there are rumours that Nicholas Hoult might be cast in the movie, but it’s not known yet who he’ll be playing should be up for a role.
Zoe Kravitz has now joined Jason in the DCEU who delighted everybody as Aquaman in James Wan’s recent superhero movie.
The Mad Max: Fury Road and X-Men: First Class actor is no stranger to starring in comic book movies, and she recently voiced Catwoman in The LEGO Batman Movie.
She obviously impressed Reeves and the film’s casting director, and I for one cannot wait to see her in action in The Batman.
I would really like to see Zoe and Jason star alongside one another sometime in the DCEU’s future.
Meanwhile, there’s been no news on who else will star in The Batman, but there have beeb plenty of rumours.
Some people thought that Kristen Stewart might be playing Catwoman for a while, but that would have been a bit too awkward on set given her and Pattinson’s well-documented history.
There have been rumours that the likes of The Penguin and The Riddler would be turning up in the movie, yet no official word on which actors would be playing them.

Some names mentioned have been Nicholas Hoult and Josh Gad for The Riddler and The Penguin respectively.
Pre-production on The Batman is expected to start sometime this summer.
No official start date has been set yet, however, there are rumours that filming could start in late 2019 or early 2020.
The Batman is set to hit theatres on June 25th, 2021.
