People are now taking to Twitter to compare the recent huge snowfalls and winter storms in Texas to the 2004 movie, The Day After Tomorrow, which is kind of scary. You can check out these people’s tweets below.
As if we don’t’ have enough stuff to worry about at the moment what with there still being a global pandemic which is preventing people from doing anything and is costing people’s jobs, businesses and our minds. We’ve now got to endure this terrible weather.
We’ve been experiencing cold snaps here in Europe and now Texas is also seeing huge snowfall, which is very unusual for the American state. People have been sharing images of all the snow in places like Dallas and have been likening it to the 2004 movie, The Day After Tomorrow.
Looks like people in Texas think The Day After Tomorrow is about to happen in real-life

So, it seems as though people in Texas at the moment are really struggling with this snow and the big freeze that’s happening in the southern US state. Honestly, if you’re not used to the extreme cold that tends to take place in January and February in a lot of places, then it’s understandable to think that you might be about to experience the events of The Day After Tomorrow.
Texas is usually pretty mild this time of year, and this worldwide cold snap we’ve been experiencing seems to be the result of global warming. So, maybe we should all go back and watch The Day After Tomorrow and remind ourselves what the worst case scenario could be and change our ways.
