James Gunn has expressed his desire to explore Guardians of the Galaxy’s Rocket Raccoon’s harrowing origins story in future Marvel movies. We say, bring it on! James Gunn has made secret of the fact that Rocket Raccoon is his favourite Guardian. He’s reiterated that fact on multiple occasions. He’s obviously a fan of the character’s wit, his sweet relationship with Groot, and most of all, his devastating backstory. Rocket Raccoon is a genetically modified raccoon.
