It’s been revealed that Ta-Nehisi Coates’ script for the upcoming Superman reboot is almost finished, and we’re interested in this project.
This project is going to be one of the Warner Bros/DC Films ventures with J.J. Abrams’ production company, Bad Robot.
We haven’t actually seen any of the movies and TV shows we were supposed to see from this venture yet.
We’re going to be seeing a Green Lantern Corps series from Bad Robot, and there have been reports of some other projects which just haven’t taken off yet.
There were reports that Bad Robot was going to be making a Justice League Dark series and a Constatine show also.
However, we haven’t heard much about these projects over the past few months.
One of these Bad Robot/DC Films/HBO Max projects was the Coates Superman reboot movie.

Well, according to Jeff Sneider over at The Ankler, Coates’ script for the movie is almost done.
Here’s what Sneider had to say on the matter:
Speaking of SUPERMAN, @TheAnkler hears that Ta-Nehisi Coates will be turning in a draft of his screenplay… soon.

Honestly, I’m not sure what to think about this Superman reboot.
I really love Henry Cavill in the role, and I suppose there’s nothing stopping them from doing both this reboot and Cavill’s version.
However, I highly doubt Warner Bros would do that.
