Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 has literally just landed on Netflix and already fans all over the world are saying one thing: “Please, don’t kill off Steve!”
This is a sentiment that we greatly share will all of you because we love Steve Harrington!
He’s a wonderful character and brilliantly played by Joe Kerry.
Interestingly enough, The Duffer Brothers’ original plan was to kill Steve off in the first season.
However, they ended up deciding not to and now Steve is basically everybody’s favourite character.
His wonderful relationship with Dustin and the rest of the Hawkins gang is just so good to watch.
He’s become the younger kids’ babysitter – against his will – but he’s really grown into that role.
Anyway, there’s been a lot of talk of deaths in Season 4’s finale and it seems as though there will be five deaths in Volume 2.

So, why are fans now worried that Volume 2 might see Steve get the chop?
Well, it has to do with two things: one, it’s been revealed that Volume 2 will feature five deaths, and two, Netflix’s marketing for Volume 2 might have teased Steve’s death.
According to New Rockstars, there will be five deaths in the finale.
Here’s what they had to say on the matter:

And then there’s the fact that Netflix has been putting up banners saying: “Protect Steve”.

So, it seems as though Steve might be in grave danger!
Could Steve end up sacrificing himself to save the Hawkins kids?
Or maybe, he might try and save Nancy and then end up being killed in the process?
Imagine the hurt and torment that would cause!
And think about poor Dustin!
How could The Duffer Brothers do this to us! How could they kill off Steve!
OK, maybe I’m getting a little bit ahead of myself now, but the more I think about it, the more I’m convinced that Steve is going to die in these next two episodes of the series we have all come to love so much.
