Stranger Things Season 4 Production Stopped Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

Stranger Things Season 4’s production has been put on halt by Netflix due to the Coronavirus pandemic which has hit a lot of TV shows.

It’s been revealed by Deadline that Netflix opted to stop production on all shows and movies being shot in the US and Canada.

This means that production on Stranger Things Season 4 has been put on hold.

A few weeks ago, there was a teaser trailer for Stranger Things Season 4 which confirmed Jim Hopper would be returning and is still alive.

However, Stranger Things isn’t the only show being put on hold.

The likes of Lucifer Season 5 has also been put on hold.

At the moment, the only one of Netflix’s big ‘tentepole’ shows still shooting is The Witcher Season 2.

That’s because The Witcher Season 2 is being shot in the UK.

The UK government has adopted a ‘keep calm, carry on and don’t shake hands’ policy to the Coronavirus pandemic.

They’re trying to ‘delay’ the outbreak of the virus, also known as Covid-19, which I don’t think will work.

But then again, I’m not an expert.

Hopefully, halting the production of the likes of Stranger Things Season 4 doesn’t mean the release date will be pushed back too much.
