Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is only days away from being released, and some of the cast have already had the pleasure of watching J.J. Abrams’ final instalment in the Skywalker saga and one actor in the movie has reviewed the film already.
The actor in question was Richard E. Grant who plays Allegiant General Pryde in the movie, and he posted a video on his Twitter account in which he reviewed the film, and spoilers, it sounds very good indeed.
He might be a bit biased because he’s in the film, but he’s obviously very emotional in the video after having seen the film, and I’m inclined to believe what he says about the Star Wars film.
Here’s what the incredibly talented actor said about the film in full:
I’ve just seen Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and nothing prepares you for this. I cheered, I shouted, I fist-pumped the air, I cried, I stood and cheered. It’s absolutely everything you hoped it was going to be.
I’m so proud to be in it and I can’t wait for you to see it.
This is really the only early reaction to Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker that I needed because it comes from someone whom I trust and know won’t be making stuff up to gain followers.

All the Twitter users, YouTubers and media outlets who claimed they’ve seen the movie earlier aren’t being completely honest because J.J. Abrams himself said recently that there haven’t been any test screenings of the movie.
However, I do believe that he would have screened the film for Richard E. Grant, who’s a Star Wars fan and is obviously incredibly proud to get to star in one of the movies.
Now, I mentioned before that he plays Allegiant General Pryde in the film, but personally I would have loved to have seen him play Thrawn, but you can’t have everything, can you?
