We Star Wars fans love a new kind of Trooper, and we’re going to get a very cool-looking one in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. We’re going to get Sith Troopers.
Sith Troopers are a new kind of Stormtrooper. They have brand new armour which is entirely red and they look really really awesome.
It’s not known whether they’ll have any sorts of Force-wielding abilities. I’m guessing they won’t.
However, I’m pretty sure they’re going to be alongside Kylo Ren in The Rise of Skywalker, and he would have taught them some tricks.
They’re not totally unlike Supreme Leader Snoke’s personal guards in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, although, I have a feeling the Sith Troopers will be a little less good at fighting as they were.
They might just be Stormtroopers who can actually aim properly, which would be a huge step forward if you ask me.

Anyway, we now have our first look at these Sith Troopers in action courtesy of Empire Magazine’s new exclusive image of them, and they do look really good all in red.
Information on what’s going to happen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is a little scarce, and I have no idea how these new Sith Troopers are going to factor into the movie.
I do think that Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) are going to end up having to work together in order to defeat the Emperor (a.k.a. Palpatine, a.k.a. Darth Sidious).
I’d actually be down for watching that particular battle play out on-screen, and we don’t have that long left to wait.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be out in UK cinemas on December 19th, 2019.
