Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker isn’t too far away from release now. It’s literally only days away from hitting our cinemas, and the excitement is reaching fever pitch.
Anyway, The Rise of Skywalker will be the final film in this Star Wars trilogy and it’ll also be the final film in the Skywalker saga, which is rather sad news, but it means that the family had the chance to go out with a huge bang.
It’s been revealed that Disney held a few test screenings for the movie. There was some rather odd news that there were three cuts of the movie. One was J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy’s cut, the other was Bob Iger’s (Disney’s CEO) cut and the third was George Lucas’ cut.
Now, I don’t really believe this to be the case, but what I do believe was that there were screenings of the movie, and we’re now hearing reports from those screenings that the movie is pretty good.
According to We Got This Covered, one of their sources who saw the film claimed it was the third-best Star Wars movie ever made.
Sounds like The Rise of Skywalker is pretty good

If you’re wondering which movies this source put ahead of it, they were Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: A New Hope (in that order).
So, it really does sound as though we have a real winner on our hands with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and I think I’m right in saying that all Star Wars fans the world over are really looking forward to seeing this movie.
Now, this could all be complete and utter rubbish on behalf of WGTC’s source, however, I’m inclined to believe the media outlet.
I know for a fact that screenings of The Rise of Skywalker have been held, and that the reactions from those screenings have been pretty positive.
I still think it’s pretty encouraging to hear these sorts of reactions.
