It’s been revealed that there was a secret cameo from E.T. in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and you can check it out right here.
E.T.’s secret cameo took place in the senate during a scene in which Terrance Stamp’s character, Chancellor Valorum was removed from his position.
The alien’s cameo appearance was pretty well hidden and it’s most likely not the same E.T. as in the Stephen Spielberg movie.
First off, this film took place a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
Therefore, the alien we came to know and love in Spielberg’s movie would have been born yet.
That is, unless his species live for millions of years.
That could be possible also. Anyway, you can check out the clip in which E.T. makes an appearance in Star Wars below.
E.T. phoned home too in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace

What this probably is is George Lucas putting in a little joke for his buddy Spielberg.
He would have had to tell him about the cameo beforehand, since his movie studio, Amblin Entertainment would have owned the rights.
I just like the idea that this E.T. alien cameo confirms that Star Wars isn’t in a galaxy all that far away from Spielberg’s E.T. movie.
Could this mean that E.T. also takes place in a galaxy far, far away?
