Star Wars: Squadrons trailer landed recently and it featured cameos from two popular Star Wars characters: Wedge Antilles and Hera Syndulla.
This reveal had me so excited. I’ve wanted to be able to fly around as a pilot in the Star Wars universe for ages.
There’s a bit of it in the Battlefield games, but now we’re getting a whole video game dedicated to flying X-Wings and TIE fighters.
It’s just so cool, and learning more about the game just has me even more excited to play it.
One of the parts of the trailer that got me and some of my Star Wars fans cheers was seeing Wedge Antilles and Hera Syndulla pop up in Star Wars: Squadrons.

Wedge Antilles was in the original Star Wars movies, but he’s also turned up in Star Wars Rebels and some of the books.
Hera Syndulla was one of the main characters in Star Wars Rebels.
It’s great to see the people behind these video games bringing in characters like this in their games.
There will be a story mode in this game which will take place after the Battle of Endor.
The Battle of Endor took place in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
