There’s a new Star Wars series in the works for Disney Plus which will feature a female lead and will be made by Russian Doll co-creator.
This news comes from Variety who also revealed that this new Star Wars show will be headed up by Leslye Headland.
Headland was one of the creators of Netflix’s Russian Doll which is an incredible show.
She will write and serve as showrunner on the upcoming Star Wars series.
It’ll also be coming to Disney Plus and will bolster their lineup of Star Wars line-up shows.
So far they have The Mandalorian, however, they’re also working on a Cassian Andor show and an Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
