There are rumours that Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Discovery might end up getting a crossover episode in the not-so-distant future.
I’ve been hugely enjoying both of these Star Trek shows, and even though they’re both Star Trek series, they’re very different.
Star Trek: Picard’s first season’s come to an end recently, and it’s a nice mixture of old and new.
On the other hand, Star Trek: Discovery is the franchise going into new and unexplored territories.
There are now rumours courtesy of ComicBook.com that the two shows might end up crossing over in the future.
Why do they think this crossover is going to happen?

That threat is the “Techpocalypse” which sounds like it’s going to be a pretty big deal.
Even though the shows take place at different times in the Star Trek timeline, we know that timelines don’t really matter as far as this franchise is concerned.
Picard also now has a synthetic body at the end of Star Trek: Picard Season 1.
This means he can live forever, so then come into contact with the Discovery crew.
