It’s being reported that the next Star Trek movie, Star Trek 4, is going to be a streaming exclusive on Paramount Plus. This news comes from Giant Freaking Robot.
There have been rumours that Paramount Pictures has opted to start work on the fourth Star Trek movie again. Originally, Noah Hawley was working on the film. He was writing the script and was going to direct the film.
He was saying that his film wasn’t going to include Chris Pine and the rest of the Star Trek movies cast. This kind of annoyed fans of the films who wanted to see Pine and co. return for Star Trek 4.

Well, we’re now being informed that Star Trek 4 is back on the table and that the film will star Chris Pine and his Star Trek crew. There are also rumours that the film will feature Chris Hemsworth back as Captain Kirk’s dad.
This was one of the issues with the fourth Star Trek film initially since they couldn’t’ agree on who should be the film’s main star and negotiations broke down over actors’ pay. It sounds as though they’ve worked all that out, and Giant Freakin Robot is claiming that it could be a streaming exclusive for Paramount Plus.
