There is a rumour that suggests that Paramount Pictures is done with Star Trek movies and has cancelled Star Trek 4.
Now, before we really get into this rumour, I have to make it very clear where it’s come from.
This rumour was a Giant Freaking Robot exclusive which isn’t a website I’m overly familiar with.
You might have heard of them, if you have then please let me know what they’re track record is like with these sorts rumours.
Anyway, according to the outlet Paramount Pictures is done with Star Trek movies for now.

Noah Hawley was writing the film’s script and was going to direct the movie.

There was some confusion on whether the orignal Star Trek movies cast would return for Hawley’s Star Trek 4.
However, Hawley then revealed that his film would focus on a new crew.
This suggested that the likes of Chris Pine, Simon Pegg and Zachary Quinto wouldn’t be returning for this Star Trek movie.
Anyway, it looks like all Star Trek movies will be put on hold now.
They are still going to be making the Star Trek TV shows which have been doing pretty well.
Star Trek Discovery has been postively reviewed and Star Trek Picard was pretty good if you ask me.
