Will Star Lord End Up With Nebula In Guardians Of The Galaxy 3?

Will Star Lord End Up With Nebula In Guardians Of The Galaxy 3

With the latest Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 trailer now up, we wonder if Star Lord and Nebula will get together instead of being with Gamora. It never even came to my mind until the new trailer brought it up.

The new movie is James Gunn’s last Marvel film. This, as far as we know, is going to be the last Guardians of the Galaxy film. This team will never be the same after the film. It is even expected that some will die; who that might be, we don’t know. But Dave Bautista has said that he won’t be returning as Drax without James Gunn.

As fans know, in the events of Avengers: Endgame, a variant of Gamora lives, and the movie’s ending suggested that they’ll keep looking for her. The latest trailer continues that storyline. Here, they have found each other, but Gamora can’t reconcile the idea that a version of herself would have a relationship with Peter Quill.

The new movie is set to focus on Rocket’s origin. This was quite evident in the latest trailer.

The trailer does start focusing on Gamora, and it even shows that, at some point, the team could potentially get her back. But we see more things like Rocket’s origin, Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary, which seems to be the biggest threat, and Adam Warlock in action, played by Will Poulter.

I’m enjoying the fact that Cosmo, the Spacedog, played by Maria Bakalova, seems to be part of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Adam Warlock has a lot of action in the trailer. However, we don’t really hear anything from the character. But there is a lot of talk from Iwuji’s High Evolutionary, which makes us believe that he is the main villain. It does seem that he is the one who captured and tortured Rocket.

The trailer features a song by Rainbow titled “Since You’ve Been Gone.” The song is from the album Down to Earth which was released in 1979. The lyrics themselves pretty much sums up Peter’s emotions about Gamora. Gamora’s death was hard for Peter and the team. Her death was like a breakup.

But as soon as they learn that she’s alive, she leaves in hiding. She is not the same Gamora they lived with for many years. Nevertheless, for the Guardians, she is family. Peter and the rest of the Guardians have been looking for her since. In the trailer, it’s evident that the Guardians did find her. The question is how they will get her back.

It’s also funny that at the end of the trailer, Gamora is the one who tells Peter based on everything he has been telling her that Nebula might be the person he’s looking for. Gamora says that it sounded like Peter likes Nebula. Suddenly Peter tells Nebula has pretty eyes. I don’t think it would lead to anything, but it was a funny moment, nonetheless.

I do believe at some point; Gamora might open up a bit for Peter. The trailer did kind of suggest that it might happen. But I don’t know if they will get together. That part is hard to tell.

It’s hard to decipher things in the trailer, which means the trailer was well done. While we get that the trailer does tell Gamora’s part of the story, a lot of other things, it’s just difficult to figure out when things happen. So far, we do understand that the team goes on a dangerous mission to rescue Rocket.

I love the rendition of the music too, a very cinematic version of “Since You’ve Been Gone.”
